We encourage volunteers to participate in fundraising to foster community engagement and support for the project. We’re here to provide guidance and creative ideas to make your fundraising journey successful, and there’s no need to stress — we will support and guide you through the entire process.
Please note that international flights and travel to and from the project are not included and will need to be arranged and paid for by the volunteers themselves. (arriving in bangkok, leaving mae sot, we do not cover)
Criminal record Check
All volunteers must have an up-to-date criminal record check and a reference demonstrating experience working with children to ensure a safe and supportive environment for everyone involved.
Visas
We always operate on a tourist visa, please try and obtain a 60day visa at the thai embassy in your country. If you are not able to please let us know. We do not mention our volunteering activities officially. We have never encountered any problems with this approach and work alongside many Thai-registered charities and organisations, ensuring our activities align with local regulations and community standards. This collaborative approach helps us maintain a positive relationship with authorities and the local community while continuing our work effectively
Travel insurance
All volunteers must have proof of travel insurance.
Circus Acts
All volunteers must arrive with two prepared acts: a daytime, fun act suitable for our kids' shows, and a nighttime act, such as fire or glow performance, for evening shows. These acts are essential to creating engaging and memorable experiences for the community and children.
Rules
We have a strict no alcohol and drug policy; if spending one month without these substances is not possible for you, please do not apply. Maintaining a substance-free environment is essential for the safety and well-being of everyone involved in the project.
